Anthony hits back over child support request

Here’s a good story about two people fighting over how much child support is enough and how earning more can affect child support payments in the future. According to the news, Marc Anthony, a popular singer, is involved in a child support dispute with an ex. According to his claims, he makes around $1.25 million per month, but he doesn’t want to give his ex any more money than she is already receiving.

According to the story, Anthony’s ex is getting $13,000 per month for child support in relation to the couple’s divorce in 2004. The former Miss Universe doesn’t want to stay at the lower amount, though, and would like the child support to reflect Anthony’s higher wages. She would like to receive $112,000 per month due to the increase in Anthony’s wealth.

The woman claims that she doesn’t have adequate funds, so she had to sell her previous home and move their two young sons into a cramped apartment where they now live in the San Fernando Valley, California. She argues that their sons should be living in luxury like Anthony’s twins with Jennifer Lopez do, according to the news. Anthony has responded to her request by insisting that she has not managed her money properly and that he shouldn’t have to give her more.

He claims that he pays her $28,416 a month for spousal and child support, and he thinks that should be plenty for her to have a comfortable home with their sons. His monthly salary is allegedly $1.25 million, and he claims he is worth $20.8 million. He also allegedly pays child support to Jennifer Lopez due to their split in 2011. She receives approximately $18,000 per month in child support.
